Software Tester.

Do you have experience as a Software Tester? Are you looking for an organization where you can roll out automated testing with Cypress and do you want to use your experiences and contribute to our growing organization? Then our vacancy might be exactly what you are looking for!

What exactly are you going to do?

As a Software Tester at ConnectingTheDots, you are the person who checks within a driven team whether everything does what it should do, before it is delivered to the customer. And this is exactly what gives you energy; removing the errors and dotting the i's (or finding them so that your fellow developers can dot them)! You work for leading customers such as; Solucious, de Bijenkorf and de Welkoop.

Among other things, you test the software manually. But we are now making great strides when it comes to automated testing. We are busy implementing Cypress with our newest customers and we want to roll this out to all our existing customers as soon as possible. A great job! And we could really use your experience there! You can really take the lead here, make a plan and make it a success together with colleagues.

By continuously checking the process and system, you can identify problems before they arise. This increases the quality of the product and therefore the experiences of our customers! During the test process, there is room within Scrum to help organize and shape the process.

Who are you and what do you bring?

In order to be able to fulfill the function of Software Tester well, it is necessary that you have extensive experience in setting up automated test environments. For many developers, this will mean a new way of working. Being able to take people along and being able to motivate them positively are qualities that will certainly help you to make it a success. You are therefore not easily discouraged when there is a setback to deal with. You also enjoy being in contact with customers and you also have experience with this. You are by nature someone who is accurate and precise and works, who thinks along and who proactively signals things.

In addition, you recognize yourself in the following:

• Several years of experience as a Software Tester in a SCRUM team;
• Relevant IT training;
• Affinity with automated testing and setting up test environments;
• Experience with Cypress or similar software;
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence is a plus;
• Experience with reading and understanding PHP (unit testing) is a plus.
