KPN is a leading supplier of all possible IT and communication services with different brands and very diverse customer groups. They came to ConnectingTheDots, looking for a central system to manage all those products.

KPN successfully implemented for managing product master data and product information. This created a global single source of truth for all products.

Automated boarding, normalization and cleanup.

An essential part of the data process is the automated boarding of product information provided by external suppliers. During this boarding process, the data is qualified, linked to the right products and put in the right format. This step is also called 'data alignment'. In this way, KPN employees and customers always see complete product information and that information is recorded in the same way for everyone.

Publication from a single source of truth.

In the next step of the data process, various departments prepare the product information for publication. ConnectingTheDots PIM is designed to optimally guide this process. Because the PIM is the single source of truth and everyone works together on the same data, there is never any ambiguity about the content or status of product information and master data. In addition, the PIM gives KPN control over the product range and the company can therefore make quick and sharp choices about which product it wants to offer in which market.
